Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Cruises.TV collects, why, how it is handled, and the rights you have over it.
Last updated 22 July 2026 · Effective 22 July 2026
1. Who we are
Cruises.TV ("Cruises.TV", "we", "us", "our") operates the website at cruises.tv. The site exists for a single purpose: to present the domain name Cruises.TV for private acquisition and to publish editorial content demonstrating its potential. We are not a travel agency, we do not sell or book travel, and we do not operate a booking engine.
For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, Cruises.TV is the data controller for personal information submitted through this site. For the purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA"), we are a business.

2. What we collect
2.1 Information you give us directly
When you submit the offer form, we collect the information you choose to enter. This may include:
- Identifiers: your name, email address, and telephone number if you provide one.
- Commercial information: your company or organization name, your offer amount, your buyer category, your preferred deal structure, and any free-text notes you write about intended use.
- Communications: the content of any email you send us and our replies.
Name, email, offer amount, buyer type and the acknowledgement checkbox are required to process an offer. Everything else is optional. If you email us instead of using the form, we hold whatever you include in that email.
2.2 Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records standard technical data when a page is served. This may include IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and timestamps. This information is generated by the hosting layer for security, abuse prevention and reliability purposes.
2.3 What we do not collect
- We do not collect payment card numbers or bank account details through this site. Any funds in an agreed transaction move through an independent licensed escrow provider, not through us.
- We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. This site is directed at business and commercial buyers. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
- We do not collect biometric data, precise geolocation, or government identification numbers.
- We do not collect information in the CCPA/CPRA category of sensitive personal information, and we therefore do not use or disclose it for purposes requiring a right to limit.
3. Cookies and tracking
Cruises.TV does not set advertising cookies, does not run behavioral advertising pixels, and does not operate cross-site tracking. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not participate in cross-context behavioral advertising.
The site loads web fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those font files, Google receives your IP address as an inherent part of serving the request. That processing is governed by Google's own privacy policy. We receive no data back from Google about you.
Because we do not use advertising or analytics cookies, we do not currently display a cookie consent banner. If we introduce optional cookies in the future, we will request consent before setting them and update this policy.
Some browsers transmit a Global Privacy Control ("GPC") signal. We honor GPC signals as a valid opt-out of sale or sharing where applicable. As set out below, we do not sell or share personal information in any case.
4. Why we use your information
| Purpose | Data used | GDPR legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Evaluating and responding to your offer | Name, email, phone, company, offer amount, buyer type, notes | Steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Negotiating and completing a transaction | The same, plus subsequent correspondence | Performance of a contract, or legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)) |
| Preventing spam, fraud and abuse | Technical log data, submission patterns | Legitimate interests in protecting the service (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Keeping records of transactions | Correspondence and deal records | Legal obligation and legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(c) and (f)) |
| Site security and reliability | Server log data | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
Under the CCPA/CPRA, these correspond to the business purposes of performing services requested, security and integrity, and short-term transactional use.
5. We do not sell or share your personal information
Cruises.TV has not sold personal information in the preceding twelve months and does not sell personal information. We have not shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the preceding twelve months and do not do so.
We also do not disclose your offer to other prospective buyers, do not use your offer to solicit competing bids, and do not publish offer amounts.
6. Who we disclose information to
We disclose personal information only to the following categories of recipient, and only for the business purposes described above:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers who serve this website and process technical log data.
- Form processing and email providers who deliver your submission to us.
- Escrow and domain transfer providers, but only if you proceed to a transaction, and only the information necessary to complete it.
- Professional advisors such as legal or accounting counsel, where reasonably necessary.
- Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose, or where disclosure is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
These recipients act as service providers or processors under contract and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes. If the domain and this site were transferred as part of a business sale, personal information could be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
7. How long we keep it
- Offer submissions that do not proceed: retained up to 24 months, then deleted, so we can recognize follow-up correspondence and evidence the negotiation history.
- Completed transactions: retained for up to 7 years to meet tax, accounting and legal recordkeeping obligations.
- Server log data: retained on the schedule set by our hosting provider, typically a short rolling window.
You can ask us to delete your data sooner, subject to the exceptions in Section 8.
8. Your rights
8.1 If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA)
You have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of recipients.
- Access a copy of the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
- Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to statutory exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you may still submit a request.
- Limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect it.
- Non-discrimination. We will never deny you service, charge you differently, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, with proof of authorization. We will verify your identity before responding, generally by confirming control of the email address used to contact us. We will respond within 45 days, and may extend by a further 45 days where reasonably necessary, with notice to you. If we decline a request you may appeal by replying to our response.
8.2 If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland (GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
8.3 Other jurisdictions
If you reside in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana or another state or country with comparable privacy legislation, you may have similar rights. We apply the protections in this policy to all users regardless of location, and will honor verified requests to the extent applicable law provides.
8.4 How to exercise your rights
Email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Request", tell us which right you wish to exercise, and write from the email address you used to contact us. There is no charge for a request, though we may charge a reasonable fee or decline where a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, as permitted by law.
9. International transfers
Cruises.TV is operated from the United States and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. If you are located in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, your personal information may be transferred outside your home jurisdiction, which may not offer the same level of data protection. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, and take account of supplementary measures where relevant.
10. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) across the site, limit access to submitted information to those who need it to evaluate offers, and use reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive financial account details by email.
11. Third-party links
Our journal cites third-party sources and may link to external sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies separately.
12. Do Not Track
There is no consistent industry standard for responding to browser Do Not Track signals. We do not track users across third-party websites in any case. We do honor Global Privacy Control signals as described in Section 3.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The "last updated" date above will change. Material changes will be highlighted on this page. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
